“Getting your Risk Management Program Off the Ground: How to be Successful One Step at a Time.”

Risk is a situation involving exposure to danger, harm, or loss – either real or potential. Every day we are exposed to risk and the effort to protect our people, property and assets is why we develop risk management programs. These programs use various tactics to reduce all types of risk by determining how people and equipment can become more efficient. Ultimately, a successful risk management program will allow an organization to reduce costs by reducing injuries and the likely complications of legal action. Creating a successful risk management program, or developing one from the ground up, is not easy but it is worth the effort and can be accomplished by following a few manageable steps.
